A Mandar in the Life of Day
As the title goes..so does every single day of my life!! I am perenially confused about what I want to do - and this perennial confusion is a chronic disorder with no permanent remedy.
I wake up every morning (like most of us do) , don the best attire I have and scoot off to office.
Wait a sec,I even brush my teeth and have a bath before heading Office-wards. On reaching office I make a beeline to the canteen, stuff myself with stuffed paratha's and head towards my cubicle. (A cubicle is a place where one can see 4 computers,4 chairs and 4 personal telephones). Life has become a cubicle. A software engineer by profession, I start diligently coding my allocated tasks(Coding is an activity where one uses his hands more than his brains, abbreviated cut-copy-no think-paste). I am confused when it comes to deciding which task to take up first. Work hours also include some time self-allocated to MSN & Yahoo Messenger, making important phone calls to all those I have not called up since yesterday. By the end of day (EOD in corporate abbreviation) , I am mentally drained and physically strained . It's time to hit the gymnaesium and get the bent back straight :-) . The confusion creeps in again..Which muscle should I work out ? Is it the biceps or the chest ? Who cares!! All I want is to earn a good physique.
I return home and keep on pondering about how to spend the rest of the time .I peruse some business magazines - BusinessWorld,India Today and then get to my studies.I want to pursue my MBA next year, come what may!! I seriously feel restricted about the domain of my work. The confusion still prevails. Which MBA do I need ? Systems or Finance? Finally , I sleep with..... ........ ...... CONFUSION !!!
